The identification of Dyslexia and other specific learning difficulties allows children and adults to understand their learning needs and to consider access to assistance and support. The accurate identification and assessment of specific learning difficulties, supported by clearly presented reports, is a vital stage in the process. Lisa provides assessments for both adults and children and the results can help them to make decisions about schools, exams and universities. An assessment can help to identify areas of strength and difficulty and can provide information on individual learning styles. The testing stage takes approximately 2-2½ hours and feedback is provided immediately afterwards. The complete reports can normally be produced within a 2 to 3 week timeframe, although urgent cases are accommodated. Upon completion Lisa will be available to discuss the results with you and advise on further options. |
